BuyBuild Companion helps you prepare, understand and act on your property decisions. It then shows you who should verify or approve. It does not replace official checks or professional advice.
What BuyBuild Companion does
- Explains each step of your Property Path in plain language, for land or stand, homes and building projects in Zimbabwe.
- Organises your documents, photos, payments, people and decisions around your property.
- Records what you tell it, and keeps a dated history of what happened and when.
- Slows you down before risky steps, using STOP, CHECK and READY.
- Shows you when a registered professional or the local authority should be involved, and what to prepare for them.
What BuyBuild Companion is not
BuyBuild Companion is not a lawyer, conveyancer, land surveyor, engineer, architect, building inspector, estate agent, bank or local authority. It does not:
- confirm who owns land or a home, or that a title deed is genuine;
- approve plans, stands, subdivisions or building work;
- inspect or certify that a structure is safe or built correctly;
- give legal, financial or tax advice;
- hold, move or guarantee your money.
What STOP, CHECK and READY mean

READY does not mean BuyBuild has certified anything. It does not mean the work is safe, legal, compliant or approved. Only a qualified professional or the local authority can confirm that.
How information is labelled
Every important fact in your records shows where it came from:

These labels are recorded by you. BuyBuild does not check documents, confirm who a professional is, or confirm what they said. Uploading a document or photo is not verification. Photos are records you keep. They do not prove that a structure is safe or approved.
When to involve a professional or authority
